The project, called “APPARATUS theatre group” continues and develops artistic searches and ideas of “Kinetic Theater” [visit Kinetic website here]– Moscow based contemporary dance company, which produced a string of experimental works in 1994-2004.
The works of “Kinetic” and later "APPARATUS" were presented at numerous festivals in Moscow, Sankt-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Chelyabinsk, Vitebsk, Volgograd, New York, Durham, London, Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Moulouse, Bilbao, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Potsdam, Veimar, Vienna, Fieldskirche, Arnhem, Amsterdam, Den Haag, Tallinn, Tartu, Narva, Rakvere, Vilnius, Riga, Stockholm, Malmo, Umea, Goteborg, Budapest, Helsinki, Turku, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Bolzano, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Skopje, Karmiel and other places.
“APPARATUS theatre group” is a free association of artists, who are interested in placing themselves apart of commercial and customary theatre.

Artistic credo of the group is based on few movements:
Movement of human body
Movement of objects
Movement of space
Movement of thoughts inside the brain inside the human bodies, which move surrounded by objects in space, which has been set in motion once.

All those movements help the group to build "apparatus" - a complex theatre machine, aiming to produce non material objects on stage.
All those movements help the group to advance to the territory apart from the theatre mainstream, a habitation of alchemists, trying to mix and cook ingredients of theatre, clownery and dance with hope of getting a new substance.
All those movements help the group TO MOVE.

АППАРАТУС – добровольно объединившаяся группа артистов и художников сцены, которым не интересен привычный или коммерческий театр. Принципы художественной деятельности группы основаны на четырех движениях:
Движение тела человека.
Движение обьектов.
Движение пространства.
Движение мысли в мозгу человека, тело которого, окруженное движущимися объектами, движется в пространстве, когда-то сотворенном и приведенном в движение.
Эти четыре элемента помогают уйти с территории театрального мэйнстрима в места обитания алхимиков, смешивающих и разделяющих вещества театра, одержимых навязчивой идеей получения новой субстанции, предвзято игнорирующих общественную потребность.
